Bailin Zheng


Mr. Bailin Zheng was General Manager of the Bank of China (USA). He joined the Bank of China Shanghai Branch in 1970 and became the general manger of the branch. In 1990 he was elected as the first Chairman of the Shanghai Association of (Foreign Exchange) Banks. In 1993 he was transferred to the Deputy Chief Executive position of the Bank of China Hong Kong and Macau Regional Office and General Manager position of the Kwangtung Provincial Bank Hong Kong Branch. He also held the General Manager position in the Bank of China London Branch before his appointment in U.S. Mr. Zheng is a trustee Member of the Institute of International Bankers (USA), an Executive Board Director of Chinese Banking Association in USA and Vice Chairman of the China Chamber of Commerce in USA. He was awarded as one of 50 Outstanding Entrepreneurs by Pan Asia Chamber of Commerce in 2000.

Currently, Mr. Zheng is Actively involved with the Institute of International Bankers, the China Chamber of Commerce and the United Nations, where on behalf of the UN he has been a guest speaker in Brazil and other countries on Foreign Direct Investment. Graduate of Peking Foreign Languages College and a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School.  Mr. Zheng is also serving as President of International Economic Club of China, an non-profit organization dedicated to provide valuable economic information about China and the rest of the world.
