Chew Yen has over 20 years of experience in translation, sales, training and coaching from various industries such the television media, professional services etc. Her career has taken her to work and live in Singapore, Hong Kong, United Kingdom with extensive travelling to Europe and Asia, especially China. This provided her with an in-depth understanding of the inter-cultural business practices.
As a Principal Consultant based in Hong Kong, she uses her diverse skills and experience in helping clients in persuasive communication focusing on presenting, selling, negotiating and coaching.
Chew Yen speaks five languages fluently and regularly uses English, Putonghua and Cantonese in her training profession and in public speaking in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore and the Philippines. She is also certified to teach Putonghua.
Since 1994, Chew Yen held key regional positions in Magsaysay, ET Media (a member of the Hong Kong Economic Times), Discovery Networks, Asia and BBC Worldwide. Prior to coming to Hong Kong, she worked with the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation, ChinaTech and AMEC Engineering in Singapore and the United Kingdom.

Chew Yen received her BA (Hons) in Chinese Studies from the University of London and 3 other professional diplomas from different institutions. She is a certified NLP Trainer (IANLP) and a certified NLP Master Practitioner (NLP University, USA). She is also a Fellow Member Trainer of the International Association of NLP (Switzerland).
